The tour will kick off in Arcata, CA on Jan 28th.  ALO’s hometown celebration will be a return to the historic Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco with support by Sean Hayes – voted “Favorite Singer Songwriter of 2010” by the San Francisco Bay Guardian. The remaining tour dates will feature critically acclaimed singer/songwriter Nathan Moore, who has been hailed as “one of those wonderful catalysts that brings out the song in our hearts and inspires us to open our lips and just sing it to whoever might be around”. This week ALO released a music video for the song “I Love Music”, from the band’s most recent album Man of the World, off Brushfire Records. Check out the video HERE! ALO is inviting fans to celebrate their love of music with Tour d’Amour games and contests.  Visit the band’s website to create a “Fan’s Choice Setlist” and visit ALO’s Facebook page to enter to win a pair of tickets to each show of the tour. MP: I read that ALO has been playing together since you were all 13. Can you remember the first song you guys wrote together? Zach [Gill] brought in a song called “Save Me This Dance”—a classic power ballad love song. Our first show was at the junior high school musical. We showed up for the audition thinking it was a talent show. They liked the band and were short on guys for the play. So they said that if we would act in the play, we could do a set at intermission.
